Contemporary

Do you have  a four season piece of clothing in your closet?

Liviana Conti

This  silk, green dress I bought last year really is.  It's comfortable  both in the cold seasons and in spring.
I have only to match it to the suitable cardigan and tights according to the temperature. Easy, isn't it?

Today I have chosen a very contemporary background for the post

I am in the public garden of the Justice Palace of Turin

Where there are imponent metallic components ... don't ask me what they are, because I don't exactly know... they look like the ones you can see on  ships!

A very contemporary landscape ...

... which is perfect for sharing  my "O chic" !
( a present from my husband )
"O bags" are very popular in Italy at the moment ... they are made of gum. I choose  the bronze colour for the body and a pair of rope handles  to get a summery look.

There were so many different combinations and until the end I wasn't sure about my very favourite! Rock colour or white? Leather handles?
It took me  time to create mine.

But, look at the big pipes : they seem to nod ...  OOOOOh, yes, I got the best one!
:-)

  1. What a fun setting to take photos in! Love this outfit, I noticed the bag immediately. I bet those are nice for people who commute, especially in wet weather, no worries about what is inside.

  2. Love the background---very fun and interesting!
And I love your bag---it's made from gum? Craziness----I'll have to look into that!
It's very smart to have a dress like this---why not be able to wear it all year long?? I'm assuming it's sleeveless?

    1. My silk dress has got sleeves but it is not warm enough to be worn in winter without a wollen cardigan and a pair of thick tights.
The O bag is pretty and funny!

    1. ...and you are very kind, Greetje! The dress is not new and I have already posted it somewhere...I am not very good at organizing my blog, and never find things!! The dress is loose and comfortable and I like its colour.
I made the necklace . It has a little copper bell and a black silk bow as pendant but they are not visible in the photos...
My bag is funny. Once more ... I wasn't able to to resist to the temptation...but this time I didn't pay for it! ( Vincenzo did )

  7. I love the dress! Fabulous cut & color! And the bag is very fun!

Many of my clothes work in all seasons (at least here in the San Francisco Bay area as it never gets that cold).

    1. Yes, the dress is really versatile. The only season I can't wear it, is summer ... it is too hot here for long sleeves!

I am sure that olive colour suits you very well, Shelbie!
